How do I attach my hitch cover?
    A. You remove hitch cover from packaging then simply unfold the stainless wire form. Slip the stainless wire form into the square receiver hole diagonally until it is snug. Then, insert your pin (not included) and secure with clip or lock (not included). If wire back is too long, simply place wire ends in opposite corner holes then reinsert wire back and proceed with pin placements.

What if I don't have a pin and clip or lock for my hitch cover?
    A. You may order an optional pin and lock from us (see accessories) or you will find these items at most stores that sell automotive accessories. Note: A lock is strongly suggested for additional security.

Can I use my own lock or pin and clip?
    A. Yes, if you received a pin and clip or lock with your vehicle or if you already purchased one to hold your ball mount you may use it.

How do I know if your hitch covers fit my receiver, I know there are different sizes?
    A. Our hitch covers are currently manufactured to fit only class III receivers. The vast majority of hitch receivers are of this class. You can tell if you have a class III receiver quite easily: the opening is 2" X 2". If your receiver has a 2" X 2" opening, our cover will fit. We have future plans to introduce models to fit class II receivers. If this is necessary to fit your vehicle please contact us for further information on whether these models will be introduced.

How do I clean my hitch cover?
    A. Our hitch covers are extremely durable. You simply wash them with mild soap and water. Rinse and dry with a soft cloth or chammy, just as you would wash your vehicle. Coarse brushes or use of caustic cleaners are not recommended.

How do I store my hitch cover when not in use?
    A. You may order an optional velour pouch from us that is specially sized to fit our hitch covers. Click Hitch Cover Access. You may also store the cover in any similar soft cloth pouch. Alternatively wrap the cover in a piece of soft cloth or an old sock and it is ready to be stored away.

I understand that some class III receivers are different than others?
    A. Yes, some receivers are different in the length between the opening of the receiver and the hole for the pin. This length is typically 2-3/4" on some vehicles and 2-1/2" on others. Our exclusive stainless wire form insert will adjust to fit either length simply by moving the wire form from holes marked (A) to holes marked (B) on the back flange of the hitch cover.

How strong are your hitch covers?
    A. Our covers are extremely strong.
Hitch Cover Stress Test These photos show how strong our Anti-Theft, Spring Steel Wire Insert and hitch cover really is. The test is set up with a hitch receiver and our hitch cover. Hitch Cover is inserted in the receiver with our Wire Insert and locked in place with a hitch pin. Then weight was added to the test to see when the Wire Insert would give. Our Wire Insert Hitch Cover did not give until the weight was at 210 pounds. Now that is strong!

Can I polish the hitch cover?
    A. We do not recommend the use of any polish or caustic cleaners on our hitch covers. Each hitch cover is coated with a specially formulated lacquer so they may be cleaned simply with soap and water, then rinsed and dried with a soft cloth or chammy.

Can someone steal my hitch cover?
    A. A standard pin and clip will secure the hitch cover to the receiver, but we have found that a pin and lock combination is the most effective option to make your hitch cover theft resistant. We offer an optional pin and lock assembly
